A line, like an army inspection, was their gig. The books were metalled & mudflat-wizened, so; All cracked up, that's a fact. Their arms shone like plastic, and the taper to the elbows Was quite a feat. But so sharp. Danger sharp. Stand back some. Those 9x9'ers full of pebbled glass office doors, with words hand painted and ratted on the one side; Sunbaked on the far edge. Some funkily-named 'dick with his untended shines up on the deck, And smoke fiddling up through the sunslat beams. No secretary this week. Solitaire for breakfast and a punch in the gut for lunch. With any luck, those butt-uglies from limetown are counting angelpennies In the trunk of a hearse by now... "No kidding? Where--I, OK. I know the one--yeah, OK: noon..." But what's with that weird metallic coating?
